Hi Barf!
Its been a while since I have made a post and I though this would be a okay time!
As of yesterday I passed my 500 mile mark, which I know isn't huge but for me its a decent achievement. I have been riding at least once a week generally after school or on the weekends, from small rides just around town to slightly bigger Bear Creek (easy). I have started to ride just to ride with no where in particular I want to go, just me and the ninja crusin around!
I think my skills have advanced quite a bit since I first started in october. No more awkward hillstarts, and starting the 250 in the morning with the choke was so annoying but now I can take off smoothly and a lot quicker than I used to.
Every day I ride i continue to try and practice being more aware than the previous day, and practice my techniques on corners and such. I have already had a few hairy situations that would have been very bad if i hadn't been alert and aware of the situations. Every time I ride I come off with a big grin and and insanely happy for some reason (despite freezing face and hands)
I hope to put on thousands more miles to come !
P.S. yesterday on 1/20 there was a ton of riders on Bear Creek!!! haha It was awesome for me to see everyone out and about and I loved getting the badass motorcycle wave
Did you see me? Red pregen 250? probably smiling my ass off!!!
