Keep in mind most of the other small 50's out there are aimed at the aggressive junior leagues, not adults wanting to have some fun. Also the whole aftermarket issue and the fact that most are 1-geared...

Unless you're really small and only want to race wiyth a bunch of kids, xr50 is the route to go...

haha.. i fell ya.. the only reason why i even thought of getting the kdx was that i might have been able to get it around 700 or 800 bucks new
 
Keep in mind that the four strokes have more torque and that the two strokes have to spool up before they make any power. I like power wheelies.

on that 13X forum there was nsr250 with a freaking cr500 engine in it! how fun would that be? :teeth as long as your health insurance is all paid up.
