How is blue lakes? I was thinking about adding that to the route for day 2.

I want to do baja. Never been there before. Are you heading there this Fall? Yup, we typically go down for 8 days. It is a whole different world down there, all I can say is do your homework and be prepared. We can talk about the details when we meet for this ride.

I'd like to get rolling about 9am. Cool, I will see if I can get TRK to head up with me Friday night. If we do I don't expect to get to camp until 9pm, give or take. I am sure both of us will be working that Friday. I can take the day off but I need TRK to save his vaca for BAJA!!!
 
I'm out :teeth . Although its gorgeous, there's no way I'd be ready for this. I haven't dirt/rock ridden since I was 15 and that was like... a few years ago :)
 
Took the XRL out last nite (been a year), damn I've got spoiled with slicks & a lowered ride. The XRL sits about a foot higher than the smr :wow

This is going to be a blast. I've only done those trails on the mtn bike!

Dude, I'm out and I wasn't even in! Just picked up a set of dual sport rims for my MZ, but I need to get them re-spoked, etc. Was thinking about going with the SuMo set-up (always a blast to watch Jeff ride--and glad to know you've healed well, brother!), but this ride has taken a leap or three beyond my skill set in the dirt (I have a knack of crashing my Baghira into trees whilst off road...). Have fun guys, and take lots of pics...

thursday the 21st? hmm let me see what my boss says. my plan is to take an extra day off - Sunday - or to switch with somebody. If I switch I'd have Sunday Monday off. We'll see, so far I don't have a rear tire :(
