This moto is in excellent running and cosmetic condition with just 9,800 original miles!
This summer, I rebuilt the carbs, rebuilt the rear master cylinder, threw on a new pair of Pirelli Sport Demon tires, changed the oil and air filters and synced and tuned it up.
I just replaced the regulator/rectifier and the right brake handle.
No mechanical or running issues. No leaks, squeaks, or creaks.
Clean title. Second owner.
Of course, it starts up every single time you turn the key.
Very reasonable and comfortable riding position. This bike is renowned for its versatility. It's a heavy, sturdy, well-built bike with power to spare.
The kickstand is slightly bent, so it leans a little precariously, but it will never tip over as a result. It's really a very minor issue. The front faring was scraped when I purchased it. Otherwise, all the "cosmetic" pieces and the paint job are in unbelievable condition.
This bike gets all kinds of praise from mechanics and gearheads, as well as plain old people on the street.
Comes with a copy of the manufacturer's service manual, and I'll throw in all the cleaning supplies and a quart of oil to sweeten the deal!
$1,600 o.b.o.

Nice bike and unbelievably low miles. I've got and '83 550 and 750 and another '84 550. I'll vouch for reliability, and yours is in beautiful shape, as far as your photos, but I bought all three of mine for a total of $1900.

There's a guy on here who has over twenty GPZ's, who goes with us on the end of the month SF city ride. Search him.

Also: have you bypassed the anti-dive system on the front forks yet?

wow... a gpz lover... over twenty. i'm impressed. i'll have to get some pointers.

BUMP for new price: $1,000 firm. That's what I bought it for back in May, and it's a bargain given how much $$$ I put into it afterwards.
