A coffee place for us

It would be absolutely super if there were a coffee / espresso bar somewhere on the Three Bears Loop in the East Bay (Orinda - Pinole - Martinez). Lots of folks on two wheels looking to spend a few bucks and get caffeinated, and not much out there except for Orinda and the Bearclaw Bakery.

Are you looking for examples of great bay area coffee shops, or suggestions for locations, or what? I'm still a bit confused what the ask is.

I have a couple of issues (don't we all?):

[1] why not include another set o'2-wheelers - bicycles?
[2] will you serve decaffeinated green tea, once you open a store?
[3] as a Certified OG, how can I stay alive til you do open?

1) Bicycles will definitely be welcomed. A lot of cafes out there already tailor to cyclists, so we decided to focus to on two wheels with motors in them.
2) Decaf options will be available(we're actually working on our first decaf roast this month) -- as for green tea, we will likely have that as an option!
3) Please don't die on us, I'll note this as motivation to make us open sooner :party

Did I miss it or does is the details about the origins of your beans pretty ambiguous? Mainly where they're roasted, when, by whom, etc

Other than where the beans are grown as shown in the name, we roast bi-weekly at Bay Area CoRoasters in Berkeley. Thanks for the feedback, I realize that wasn't so clear on our site!

My wife roasts the beans herself. :cool

We're in research phases now on where we want to be physically located, so we've been trying to understand where a coffee place like this is needed, Barf has been a wonderful resource so far. I agree Orinda/Pinole/Martinez is a bit dry on solid cafe's (States Coffee in Martinez is awesome btw) so we're considering those areas and maybe somewhere in the north bay. Having something mobile will for sure a great short term but our ultimate goal is to have somewhere permanent for us riders to just show up whenever they feel.

Side note, our roasting space also has a cafe attached to it and we'll be one of four featured roasters from February-April using our beans for espresso drinks. Ya'll should definitely come by then, my wife may be there to make the drinks herself! Also pondering hosting some rides with the cafe as a starting point. Keep you all posted!
