Active USPSA shooters out here?

Are you active in USPSA? Say, at least 4 matches a year....

What club do you normally shoot with? You a member?

I started a year ago or so, spend most my time at Yolo and DAP. Richmond seems like a PITA to get in, if you are not a member. Huge range, for sure.

Been digging into my results and looking for all the small wins to get dialed in, before starting all the bigger issues. I'm old, fat and slow.... no GM dream here. But having fun at it.

Several of the ranges down here (so I'm told) will let you rent private ranges (basically isolated, bermed areas) and you're mostly free to do what you like. Just can't do it on the "public" range. Pricey for one, but bring some friends and split it.

All the ranges that allow that have been for members only, that I have visited.

Sac Valley is normally where I go, as a member I can reserve a range and bring some friends. Normal entry fee applies to all.

Doesn't Los Altos Rod & Gun up on skyline allow that once you've demo'd proficiency? (To be sure, I could be mixing it up with some other range.)
