gawd... who knows what parts are who's bike... dan's bike got fucking HAMMERED in that crash... unlike anything i'd ever seen before.
FYI...that dark crumpled mass you see centered on brunty's post... is this:
here's a few more from that wreck... ugh, it was such a horrible sight. glad the injuries were pretty freggin minor compared to what it LOOKED like it could have been.

The pic is me on my BMW 650 GS in Capitola. It was the Vampires Dampened Spirits ride and the pictures belong to the Vampires, so technically it is Moikes, Mine, the Vampires, etc. The best part of the whole thing was the people in line at the carwash getting out of their cars to watch this and freaking out. Good Times!

yep, i went around it anyways...
and believe it or not, when i came out the other side, i had to squeeze through that little spot just behind my bike, else i would have had to backtrack about 40 miles of dirt roads in the wrong direction to get back to pavement.

The scene I wish I had a pic of - happened at buddy's house. One dude always comes home and stops with a giant stoppie, but took it too far one day and went over. He jumped off the front and rolled away, but the bike ended up upside-down, perfectly balanced, still running! My two buddies just looked at it for a second in shock before pushing it over. Later they realized they should have pushed it onto the side without the exhaust... oh well. I guess they didn't know what else to do, haha

Let me tell you, I was pissed at my buddies for not at least taking a cam-phone pic or something. These guys don't make shit up either. They said they were just so stunned to be looking at an upside-down motorcycle that they just pushed it over as quick as they could and thought about the rest later.
