did my first hour today, it was pretty much what i expected...besides other points of interest. didn't realize i would be hearing stories of crack and meth heads as well.
heard some pretty fucked up pasts that had caused them to abuse alcohol and drugs. it's crazy being in a room with a lot of other people that drown them selves in alcohol because of their past as well as i do.
i do actually feel better after going, but it was very uncomfortable when i first got in there seeing people cry. praying to god in a circle kinda weirded me out since i'm really not religious. also people admitted they were put in a mental hospital too.
i couldn't help but think i'm in a room with a bunch of fucking weirdos. i'm gonna attend next sunday as well and go from there. if there weren't any sane people in there, i would not be going next sunday. thankfully there were, i would advise anyone with a problem do go. you honestly do feel better after seeing other people with your same problem, and other people that hurt deep down inside.
