they prob covered almost 200ft in that gif alone and good lead-outs usually last 3km or more.

the UCI is considering having more shorter and more-difficult stage races in the grand tours. the change will be something like 150km instead of 220km as it seems to make the racing more exciting.

Yeah the body movement of shoulders slouching just after the kick and falling to the left reads as "oh I give up" but then it went in. Or else it could have been done with film editing :nerd
