I want to do it, just to practice AFM race starts. Always have to spend my first two laps making up the half dozen positions I lost before T1.

dont need a drag bike to do that. just get your happy ass to the hot pits and buy an extra set of clutch plates!

Normal brakes on a motorcycle also stop the bike, not the rider...

True. But with a lot more control. If you grab too much brake then over the bars you go. With a parachute you do not have that control.
