If you also notice the guy doing the kicking puts the gun almost under his chin which imo is a super fail.

Might just be me, but it based on the way the guy's wrist bends, it looks like he angles the barrel of the gun upwards and then back at "the aggressor" before bringing it downward, keeping the barrel aimed towards "the aggressor".

Maybe, but it's still pointed at himself at some point after he begins the maneuver, which means if the guy reacts quick enough and pulls the trigger he's dead - or at least severely injured.

You're supposed to break the grip on the weapon by turning the firearm to the inside grip of the victim in this sort of disarm. This means it would be sweeping AWAY from his body.

She's a pretty famous B List Actress. It's not like she is just another model. I tell you what though, when I first saw her on Firefly many years ago, I made a point of finding out who she was. I hadn't seen a broad enough range to know if she could really act yet, but simply based on how overwhelmingly gorgeous she is, I knew she was going to be more famous.
