Another I hate Hardley riders thread.

So the wife and I are on our way back from TRYING to go up HWY 1 and going south on the 101 I pass a Hardley in the #1 lane, with his shitty loud pipes, blaring .38 special from his sound system. Then the fuckstick spends the next 10 miles trying to get in front of me, not get in front of me and keep the speed he used to get around me, but get "in front of me" so that he can send his shit noise back to me.....I'm in my Solstice, top down. All Hardley riders are fucking douche nozzles. That is all........

Except, if you're going north on HWY 1 outta SLO, there are two slides now before Bixby bridge, that will keep the road closed for at least a week. The first is about 6 miles north of ragged point and other at Lime Kiln. And the slide at Bixby could keep the road there closed for 3 months, according to CalTrans worker #366872. So I have to wait at least another week before trying to go up on the MC, but that's ok, because there is a lot of water seep on the road and more than a few dirt spots as well.

I am not of the all Harley riders are douche nozzles mindset, but I did just pass a large group on the Bridge who were doing a pack thing and not letting other riders lane share by. I mean basically riding the line but not lane sharing. They were farting their pipes a bunch though. Waited behind them for awhile, got seen in a mirror and still no love. Kinda sucked but just made a switch to the left side and got on my way.

Nice weather. Mo bikes mo problems.

Now that is not fair...there are sport bikers who are douches too! I had an HD rider come to my rescue just yesterday when I dropped my bike in a right turn lane just 2 blocks form the house..damn taxi driver decided to stop short as he was making a right turn..no reason to stop..it was clear..now THAT was douche. As I picked myself up from the ground and waited for two ladies behind me in a car to come out and help me lift it..this "knight in chrome armor" came roaring around teh cars behind me, pulled his HD right up next to my bike to block any cages stepping on my toes..and quickly lifted my bike..made sure I was okay..waited for me to get up and make the turn..followed me for the two blocks before I waved him on...now THAT is not douche!

There are cage douches out there too...but I feel the moto love from ANY rider...can't we all just get along?? LOL!

I watched a Harley dude park on crowded Murphy Street taking an entire space while dining outside. I was thinking the OP's thoughts when a PU pulled up, the HD moved his bike and his friends had a place to park. Glad I minded my own business.

Me personally, I find squids on I4 sprotbiles with loud exhausts to be equally annoying and contemptuous as hardley riding posers. I guess the big difference is that squids are often going far too fast for their assumed lack of skill and the conditions around them and hardley posers are holding up traffic worse than lame car drivers.

If I had to pick one over the other, I'd rather be going down the road with the squid.
