Ok, them's fightin words. Upper Pinehurst is a great road. I can't tell you how many times I've pulled an inside pass on that right side hairpin.

Missouri biker festival draws 125,000 people to Lake of Ozarks amid fears it will be another Sturgis 'super spreader'
I was in Miami during that same week, March 6th through the 15th and there was virtually NO infections in Miami, even ate at a restaurant, no real social distancing, not much fear.
Around the end of bike week there were about 300 reported cases total in Florida.
Now there are 451,000.
Nice try though.
... I would have guessed that it was the 40% of Americans who watch a particular cable channel.
... After all we wouldn't want to have the people in the house on Pennsylvania Ave to be embarrassed.
Blown out of proportion? I dunno.
You should never ride a motorcycle again if you understand probability.
BTW, what is the grandma count from Sturgis as of today? Up to about 5000 deaths and 10 billion in healthcare costs right? Or do we need to wait 2 more weeks?
But, to your example: I wear a mask like I wear gear for a motorcycle, the only difference is, my mask is protecting YOU. If we both wear them, we're all safer.
It would be safer for both of us if you rode a bicycle instead so that way the crash would be less violent when you hit me in a crosswalk, and also your exhaust emissions will not pollute my air and create climate change killing us all.

Your stake-raising examples demonstrating probability are muddling the point and are what the "just-a-flu"ers cling to for supporting their justifications for not observing smart pandemic PPE procedures.
Wear a mask. Argue numbers all you like, cry chicken little all you want, laugh at the libs who cower in fear - but wear a mask. You're on the wrong side of science, and likely the wrong side of history.
Also, I stand by my post, people are dirty motherfuckers.
Just a coincidence....
Secondary and tertiary infections.
