2005 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 will premiere on NBC & OLN, Discovery HD and Discovery Channel’s “Monster Garage”
This December, desert racing fans will have the opportunity to see coverage of the SCORE Desert Racing Series on network and cable television, DVD and online. Aura360, a firm specializing in the creation and development of emerging event and media properties, produced programming for four of SCORE’s notorious desert races including the grueling Tecate Baja 1000 for OLN, NBC and Discovery HD.
NBC and OLN will premiere SCORE’s 38th Tecate Baja 1000, the granddaddy of all desert races this December. Held annually in the treacherous and unforgiving Mexican desert in Baja, California, the race is the crown jewel of SCORE Desert racing, averaging over 300 entries from 30 States and a dozen countries each year. For more than 30 years, the world's most famous desert race has enticed celebrities like Paul Newman, James Garner, and Jesse James as well as cross-over racers such as NASCAR champion Robby Gordon and action sports athlete Travis Pastrana. Little more than half of the racers will finish this incredible test of man and machine where head-on collisions and flip-overs are part of the ride.
Additional OLN programming includes special coverage of the 37th Tecate SCORE Baja 500, Las Vegas Terrible’s Cup I, and the 10th SCORE Las Vegas Primm 300.

2006 will continue to be an exciting year for the SCORE desert racing series. Aura360 is producing a two-hour special program featuring the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 & 500 for Discovery HD. “The Baja Unlimited: Inside the World’s Toughest Off-Road Race” will explore the people and riders that make this dangerous race so compelling. The show will capture behind-the-scenes “reality-style” moments of camaraderie and competition. Shot and produced entirely in High-Definition, motorsports fans will experience the danger of the races and beautiful scenery on television as never before. The program is scheduled to air in early spring of 2006.
Coverage of the SCORE series will continue on OLN including new programming featuring the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge and Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250.
A special two-hour show on Discovery Channel’s wildly successful “Monster Garage” will premiere in 2006. The episode will feature Jesse James’ attempt to conquer the Baja in a Trophy Truck built by the crew of the famed garage.

The site includes behind-the scenes coverage of some of the sport’s most interesting and compelling racers, video clips and a “store” to purchase DVD copies of each race television broadcast.
In December, Aura360 will release a special DVD of the 2005 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 that will include exclusive footage from the race not seen on television such as out-takes from interviews, racing shots and behind-the-scenes action.
