Can the pictures have been taken in any point in time? or should they have to been taken in (lets say) 2007 with provable metadata?

I was thinking of participating, but if the rules are going to be so loose, I don't know if it'd be worth the time. I think there needs to be a little more rules and guidelines especially if there is to be prizes involved.

It's all in fun, and the top prize is not a big ticket item, so there is no point in having a bunch of rigid rules. I also doubt this will lead to a new career in graphics arts either, so P-Shop a photo, submit it, then laugh at them like everybody else.

What are the stipulations for posting images? Should I be the person who took the photo? or just the person who photoshopped the image? Do I need to secure rights to all photos that appear int he final image? What if I took the photo and someone else photoshopped it, is it still my image to post?
