Ok here is how I do it....

find this....

and click it.
When this pops up....
post help 2.jpg


Paste the URL from you instagram post in there. It usually works. I share all the instagram posts from my phone. To get the instagram url I paste up there I hit the weird ass little "share" triangle icon and select "copy." I hope that helps.
