no vehicles anywhere, even outside the subway.

the game was designed with PC in mind, so of course they showed footage on the most rocking PC's out there. the game still looks great on mine, i bumped it up to high settings and it runs just fine, just a hint of slowdown. once game is out i'll tweak it a little to find best quality while keeping good frames per second. maybe bump up my overclock a bit too... only at 3.2ghz, i can hit 4.0 no prob if need be

Yeah I hear you. But in the alpha build, there was a LAV (M2 Bradley type thing) outside. Not sure why they took it out for the beta build. Maybe it made things too lopsided for the attackers.

There are password protected servers (on PC of course) running the Caspian Border map with planes, choppers, and tanks...oh my.
 
yea i saw the caspian border servers. they were called like, EA testing #1 and such, so probably just internal or invite only. maybe they'll unlock that map later in beta, get to test out that 64 player combat

recoil heavy, more than black ops.
running is faster than bfbc2. even without sprint...
not much screen sway, so upham wont get motion sickness... :laughing
did i mention heavy recoil?
blowing up buildings = le fun.
 
Did they take the bug out where the engineer class can bipod the SMGs?

Servers are getting flooded; I'm showing the same thing.

Got in 13 minutes earlier this morning....pretty fuckin' awesome. :thumbup
 
There's a reason its called a beta, expect stuff to not work properly. Better they test it now on a huge scale than to be screwed up on release date.
 
I got 1/2 an hour in. Ragequit because my crap team let us get spawn raped. Now I can't get back in. Did a 28-24 game right before it though.
