BARFTRON HOMEBASE

BF3 is different animal. Teamwork/communication is much MUCH more important. There's the aspect of using vehicles. More realistic things to factor in such as bullet drop over long range. And many matches will go 15-20 minutes.

MW3 will be what you're used to. Fast paced. Immature kids in lobby. 4th perk Host Pro to one lucky player. But still can be fun with all the killstreaks and custom setups (like me being a riot shield troll).

Looks like all of us are doing BF3 for sure. And I'll still get MW3 for the times nobody else is online to squad up with in BF3 and I just want some quick fixes of killing.

Best reason to get BF3: You can't pre-empt Upham's Chopper Gunner with your bitch-ass Cobra and Care Packages.

Played about 1hr of campaign, yea it's not the greatest. Haven't gotten to "it sucks" level, but we'll see once I've finished the entire run through.
 
campaign is ok. its pretty i guess. more like a movie you interact with than like, a game you actually have to think and plan

I am looking at the box right now. Also looking at my Gamestop receipt with the code for the Physical Warfare pack DLC.

Can't do shit with it till Sunday. Try living with that itch.
 
sniping in BF games is an art. so awesome when you shoot a perfect shot. yesterday got a headshot on a guy floating in parachute 200 yd away :D
 
My best shot yet was defending in rush on the island. Headshot on a guy that was near the jet on the aircraft carrier
 
Love those marksman bonuses. Have only five long range kills, but you've already got 1600 points=makes sniping worth it. I think I got a 257 bonus in the beta as my high.
 
Can't log in to the stupid battlelog thing- keeps saying my password is wrong, regardless of what I reset it to. Can't stay in a server- keep getting kicked for connection problems. Which doesn't make sense because my connection is fine. Basically I've managed to get in to 2 games, died both times, then lost connection both times.

I'll keep trying though.
