BARFTRON HOMEBASE

MW3 last night....

Upham: "No Bap, no, Claymore--!"
<bapistro runs through the doorway, holding hands with a teammate, both die>
Upham: "FFFUUU!"

I left bap and joined Cryton and for the fifth in the party. Mandac made it six and Bap broke our hearts by arriving two seconds later than Mandac and getting on the other team. Mandac and Angryman on the same team, oh joy.

In between games Mandac said "Hold on I gotta take a piss." We kicked him and picked up Bap. I would not want to be Mandac's dog right then because I think he would kick a puppy.

Just play with me, Bap, and Norkali. We can usually win because the other team doesn't play the objective as much as us. Only time we lose is when our randoms are totally worthless. We had a guy (who was already prestige) go 1-28. I actually begged him to just quit so maybe another random could join who knew what they were doing. I was right next to him when a bad guy came around the corner. Bad guy shoots at me first and drops me into final stand so I could maybe see my teammate avenge me. 1-28 guy just sits with thumb up his ass and gets killed. At least I got the kill from final stand. But damn are there some bad players out there! I'm almost always in the top 3 of the lobby, and I will freely admit that I suck at COD.

Having a high level sucking is always frustrating. But from the looks of it, a 1-28 prestige sounds like a friend playing on his account. Either that, or he must play a lot and enjoy sucking at it.

Or boosting for the other team. Another game, or maybe that same one, I kept hearing "they're at B" or whatever flag in my headset whenever I started capping a flag. Kept wondering why my own team would need to say where we were. Probably our random was really with the other team but the idiot didn't go to party chat.

Eh, I like it. It's mindless mayhem and instant gratification. I like BF3 and it is more of an academic exercise compared to MW3, but not playing with a good squad quickly sucks the fun out of it.

I can do COD on my own and have fun. I can capture enough flags/dogtags/whatever objective all by myself to make a difference to get the W. Playing BF3 solo and just getting thrown in a squad full of randoms kinda blows since I can't make much of a difference. But if we get a BARFtron squad in BF3 then we can do work.

I redboxed MW3 for two dollars to see what all the fuss is about...

Nick 2 seconds into playing said:
FUUUUUUUCK!!!
:nchantr:laughing:rofl

I haven't played yet but I'm dying to string together swear words so I'll see how it goes

And right back in the box it goes... compared to BF3 it's just not as fun for me

A detailed look at Squad refinements
Today's PC client patch features numerous tweaks to Squad functionality and is part of our ongoing efforts to make it easier to play with friends and Platoon mates. These changes will also be implemented for consoles when we release the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 updates shortly. Stay tuned for the exact date of the console updates.

First, we need to look at how joining with Squads and Platoons affects the balance of teams. Initially, servers are commanded to equal out each side, so joining with friends can impact that balance while joining with Platoons further hinders this. As a result we have made some adjustments to the in-game Squad management screen.

That rivals challenge for drifting with Mustangs only on that test track that's like super wide is pretty fun. For the life of me I still can't get a four star drift. I dunno what it's gonna take. I pulled a 5000+ point drift through one turn and it still only gave me three stars.

I got a perfect drift during one of those races.

I'm adding cars to the club garage. I thought it was automatic.
