Upham, have you taken the M60 out for a spin yet on Ghost Recon? So awesome. Get behind cover, push up on d pad to deploy bipod, and just lay into bitches at a choke point. You get XP for kill from cover and XP for suppression. Or if someone else gets them you still get the suppression XP.
 
it would be rad if BO2 had like SOH and like assassin or similar...!
 
Holy shit. There's gonna be expansion packs for BF3 till March 2013?!? The close quarters pack drops next week. Then the vehicle heavy pack a month or two from now. Then two more packs?!

And don't forget, we already got Karkand.

So five DLCs. Even with Karkard for free because of the preorder, this is gonna wind up being a really really expensive game.

But worth it. So many ways to play it that it has better replay value than any game I've had so far.
 
Man, it's been so long. I haven't touched my Xbox in ~6 months. The itch for BF3 came back, so I finally fired up my machine last night only to be confronted by a 2.3GB update. :| Might have to give it a go tonight!

You can get all the DLCs for $50. In a way, I like how they're doing this. It means this game will be fully supported until at least Spring 2013. It's not like I'm getting an entirely new game everytime I drop $60 for the new COD.
 
Lovin' Ghost Recon campaign. Hella long, and you can bring in a friend or 3 for co-op.

Shades dropped in on our multiplayer party and eavesdropped on the chaos. Damn some people are uptight.
 
I like the campaign. But the multiplayer is really starting to piss me off. I dunno if it's lag or what, but there will be some games where I pretty much absolutely can not kill anyone. I'll be a good little boy and flank their team and come up behind some clown cowering behind a wall. I come up right to him and push X for the stealth kill. Nothing happens. Keep mashing the button and nothing happens. So then I say fuck it and just lay into him with the gun. I get hit markers. Point blank range at his head. Hit marker after hit market. Then he just turns and kills me instantly.

And that's the whole match. Nothing but hit markers for me and I don't even get kill assists. It's like I'm just an unarmed bot to shoot at for the other team.

The worst part of the multiplayer is there's NO WAY to quit out in the middle of a match. You have to dashboard to get out. Soooooooo stupid. And way worse than pre patch BF3 where you couldn't quit till a match started.

Already preordered it. So far the GameStop preorder bonus is a BO2 poster (which I kindly told the clerk to just keep) and a MW3 prestige token. Supposedly more bonus items will be dropped as BO2 gets closer to release. But it's Call of Duty...they havent really given jack shit out for pre order. Whereas EA gave away the first DLC for free with preorder/launch day buy.

Ghost Recon gave me the AK47 and MK14 as a preorder/launch day buy bonus. Those are kinda nice. Actually, the AK47 is a little OP.

If I get stuck on the crap team that gets spawn trapped, I'll take it like a man. But when it gets all buggy where all I get are hit markers, I gotta pull the plug. I ain't sitting through that shit.
