BARFTRON HOMEBASE

DAFAQ.... :wtf

Turned my xbox off mid game to go smoke, turned it back on and I got this warning. :laughing I guess they're trying to prevent dashboarding. :laughing

I gotta say, they really did a lot to improve the gameplay. No more deathstreaks (second chance BS), ghost only works if you're moving around (no camping), bullet trails from snipers (no camping), and now no dashboarding? So far so good... :teeth

:laughing the only problem is when your connection sucks balls to begin with and disconnects you periodically...fortunately I haven't gotten a probationary warning though. I have a buddy on PS3 with 4 kids and a dog that constantly yank the cord out, trip and hit the power button, etc in the middle of games...so he'll lose points for matches where he's 50-12, but god forbid it happens when we're losing. Then everyone starts going "what a bitch, he backed out, etc" and I'm like...not quite. :( he just has an infestation of rug rats.
 
GD'it finally made it to level 53 in black ops 2 to get the Claymore, and really they aren't any more exciting than the Bouncing Betty. :x
 
I unlocked Ghost. Have to make it all the way to 55 to get it otherwise so I would never get to use it for long. Next prestige, I'll unlock the AN94 since its also a situation where'd I'd hardly ever get to use it since its like rank 54 I think. There's no AK47 in Black Ops 2, but the AN94 behaves a lot like the AK47 in all the past games...hard as hell to use naked, but put a silencer and maybe the foregrip on and it's a friggin beast.
 
Planetside 2 released today, a PC free to play MMO FPS that people have high hopes for. Huge maps where players in 3 factions fight to control territory. Up to 2000 players per 'continent' (server?). Downloading now to see how it is.

Played beta :) and played the hell out of the first one. Got a thread around here somewhere for it, but teamwork is absolutely essential if you actually want to "win". Organized outfits consisting of hundreds of people are what you're up against.
 
Jesus. Hitman Absolution also released today. Totally forgot to go pick it up.
 
I need to clone myself and send that poor schmuck to work to do my job so I can devote more time to all these fucking games. Maybe even another clone to get to all the games I cant even get to since there's about six I'm still plenty happy to play right now. And every one of them...five minutes turns into two hours before you know it.
 
Learned an interesting bit for Black Ops...

Other than the snipers, the Mk48 and the SCAR-H have flat damage (no decrease in damage at range) at 40 per bullet. Not sure what to do with that info. Pretty sure that makes the SCAR-H still a one hit kill anywhere even with a silencer in hardcore modes.

Sweet, in MW2 I used to snipe with a SCAR, besides the fact that it was one of the few weapons with a usable iron sight (get your shit together infinity ward, your iron sights suck and treyarch rapes you), it only took 2 hits to kill people close up and 3 hits if they were way far away. I sit damn close to a 50 inch screen so that I can see the real far away guys and *pop* *pop* *pop* they dead.

I haven't unlocked BO2 scar yet but I'm having high hopes for it. I used to love the FAL but the multiplayer FAL I just can't use the iron sights on it properly. Oddly enough, zombies has the old FAL from the original black ops. I take heads in zombies and miss my target in multiplayer :thumbdown

Just like snipers, any single shot AR is really dependent on your connection. I fucked around and used the KSG shotgun against bots by myself and its fun as hell. Not gonna dare to use that thing online.

I dunno if you're gonna like the SCAR. Seems to have a much slower fire rate which I am not digging. Has the same punch and about the same recoil as the old MW2 version though.
 
type 25, like it for the high fire rate.
i cant run with sub, not enough stopping pow.

hip fire in this game is pretty good, cause ive been lazy ads.
 
Holy shit, the Skorpion EVO (which already has the fastest rate of SMG fire) combined with Rapid Fire attachment sounds like a hand-held A-10 Warthog. BRAAAAPPP BRAAAAPPPP clip gone. :laughing

The scar has always had a low rate of fire, basically an automatic FAL. I've always like it though. Everyone and their mother used an ACR but I could never get into it, mostly because of the shitty iron sights but even with a red dot, meh

Rapid fire cuts your max damage range in half on the Scorpion. So anything outside knife range is gonna need half a mag to take a bitch down. But it is pretty fun to go primary gunfighter and have rapid, laser, and fast mag.

Definitely not the strongest, but I seem to do best with the M27. Maybe because the recoil is so low.

I play Hardcore only, the regular mode is absolutely idiotic. :teeth
