LSAT w/ Target finder + quick draw has been working well for me. FMJs not necessary though I won't deny they help. Quick draw + target finder make it as fast as an SMG or maybe even pistol to bring up ADS (I also use that perk 3 that helps can't remember the name at the moment.) It's almost instant.
 
Dexterity. It's what the pro version of steady aim used to do where you me gun is ready to fire faster after sprinting.

I don't use that one for my LMG class. Moves slow anyways so I'm not rushing with it. Much rather use tac mask or engineer with that setup.
 
OMG have you seen the carriers being introduced into planetside 2? Small cities in the air and each outfit gets one.:thumbup
 
Watched a few vids of Far Cry 3. Looks awful damn good. Pretty much a single player game from the looks of it. Though there is a multiplayer. Buddy said its like Skyrim with guns.
 
the multiplayer hasnt gotten great scores. the singleplayer does look pretty damn awesome, another game to wait for a steam sale
 
Yeah I think I'll go for this one on PC. I didn't drop all that money upgrading my PC just to play DayZ.
 
Blops is fun, but still not up to par for me to buy it myself. X-mas gift material....? Yeah, okay okay, I'm looking forward to getting it for x-mas hopefully. :laughing

Brother went to Hawaii for a week, so I grabbed it again to really play some zombies and play more multi....well, I still got it. :laughing

God damn Kali that team got fucking worked looking at the kills and deaths. Surprised they lost by only 67. Psssh. Like 67 is just on the reg. I know that's a huge victory.

On that same map yesterday, BARFtron (and associates) won by over 120. Probably because halfway through the game a shitload of them rage quit so it was like 9 on 2 for a bit. I pulled host after a migration and went into ez mode. And I think fucking shades had the VTOL on them which probably prompted the rage quit.


For some reason I'm much much better as a sniper in this than any of the previous COD games. I've been digging the bolt action 50 with the kap40 as a secondary. That pistol is ridiculous. It is like a SMG with just a small clip.
 
37-3, best game I've had on Black Ops 2. Not that I'm all that good, I rush 99% of the time and die often (campers, fuuuuu).

All I did was get a good start, put out a Sentry Gun, and then watched in amazement as the other team kept running in front of the Sentry Gun. Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill....can't you dummies see there is a Sentry Gun there? I got 13 kills from Sentry Gun alone :wtf :laughing

Sentry guns do some serious work. Not many people carry EMP grenades and you gotta get awful close to get a C4 on it. So as long as your team controls any way to flank where the turret is, that thing can lock down an area better than anyone.
 
Something I just learned today also...

Scavenger no longer just replenishes ammo. You get lethals and equipment back also, but you gotta get the kill with a gun in order to replenish those too. So I can't kill with C4 and replenish C4 unfortunately. Otherwise I'd be giving the riot shield/C4 setup a go again.

Oh man before I Prestiged I was runnin' Scavenger with Danger Close spreading Claymores like AIDS. :laughing

But I wondered if there was a limit to how many Lethals you could disperse using Scavenger, think I remember onetime I had like 6 or 7 spread out and tried to do another, and I mysteriously died with a "mistakes were made" msg when all I was doing was walking, with no explosions nearby. Never figured that one out.
 
Man, Chivalry - Medieval Warfare on Steam is a nice cheap fun game. It's indie, so a little rough around the edges, but sweet hack and slash fun! :laughing

One thing to note about BO2 - Sentry guns, care packages, etc WILL still give you points towards your next scorestreak. Previously, anything you got in a care package may have gotten you kills but that was it. Now, if you get something in a care package that gets you more points/kills, it'll still add towards your next scorestreak. I rock UAV > Care Package > Sentry gun, and had my sentry gun alone get me another UAV - AFTER I died.

I like how Treyarch did it this time around. Seems like the right balance. MW2 was just too ridiculous. Chopper gunner could almost always get to the nuke. So 1/4 of a regular kill I think is much better. Keeps the shitloads of air support at bay.

The guardian nets you a lot more points in some circumstances. You get points for when they run into it, and points if your team kills them while they've been suppressed. Great on hard point or demolition.

Yes, love this new feature. And Scorestreaks are earned by points not kills, also cool. The other day I destroyed a bunch of bouncing bettys while running Engineer, then killed a couple people and suddenly had UAV. I was like "whut, I only killed 2 people how'd I get the UAV already" then I remembered it's points that count not just the number of kills as before.

And then if you throw up a UAV you get points every time your teammates kill somebody. Really nice design to Black Ops 2, they fixed many of the weakness from the original.

The spawn is still a bit odd, if there are only 6 guys on the other team, that leaves many open spots on the map. Can't you find somewhere on the map to spawn me other than directly in front of the bad guy who is already aiming right at me? :laughing
