I thought this was supposed to be a serious forum, like no playing around :x

There is a "reason" box on those certificates?

I was following a gravel truck and it was leaking gravel, which was pelting my un-gloved knuckles so I speeded up to get past the truck. There was blood! Still not a good enough reason. Because, the officer explained, you could have just slowed down out of the gravel wake... Yeah, I'm gonna go slower than a double trailer gravel truck spewing gravel onto the highway? :nchantr

I've been able to tell that there is a gravel truck ahead couple of miles, from what is recycled and kicked up by traffic close to me.

The only thing that was allowed to drop from trucks was feathers and water. No ambition for that cop to stop the gravel loss?

I came up behind one the other day where the gate was actually swinging open and dropping a sheet of gravel onto the freeway. Another truck went past him and maybe radioed because he pulled off the road right afterwards.

A couple of days ago, I was reading an article about a guy who had just bought a DeLorean and he got a ticket for 88mph. Apparently he wasn't too upset, although it was a hefty fine.

That is just how CalTrans does it these days. Rolling patch jobs.

If the flux capacitor was working, he could just go back to a time right before he got the ticket. Problem solved! :nerd
