I liked them, they use their own seasoning on the meat iirc.

What's the general consensus on Habit's Burgers? We tried out the new one in Santa Clara this week and were favorably impressed. I thought the burger was better than In 'n' Out, and the fries were a definite step up from In 'n Out, which I think are too dry.

One opened up here in Fresno around 2010 or 2011. It's alright. I tend to go to In 'n Out more often. The Habit here is in a great location so the times that I have been there it's usually pretty busy.

Yes, there are good locations in Fresno believe it or not.

One of the best burgers I had was from Joe's Cable Car. Chili burger. :drool
That was back in the early 90's possibly late 80's. That place still around? Any good if it is?

I like Habit. It's somewhere between fast food and sit down restaurant.

The only thing I don't like is the price of additional toppings. I shouldn't have to add 2-4 dollars to my burger to get ingredients that are standard or free at other places. 1 dollar for mushrooms is redonkulous.

I just had Super Duper, in Mill Valley, with bacon, cheese, and avocado. Nomnomnom

Decided to go to Roam Artisan Burger for cheeseburger day and was kind of disappointed. lol. It was ehh. Everything from the meat to the veggies are from local farms. They even have Bison and ELK. I did just get their classic cheeseburger. I could of gone with the bacon and eggs but thought I would just keep it classic. I still think the burger at the Chop Bar in Oakland is better.

Their Fry-fecta is really good.

Their Roasted veggies was delicious.

God damn though, I need to visit Union St. more often. Hot chicks everywhere.

Tried the Umami burger and I didn't like it. I hate the bun they use and that Parmesan cheese. The house made ketchup and truffle fries is really good.

Station One in Lafayette. Oh wait...it's a fucking starbucks now :|

Roam, also in Lafayette is fairly new and has some pretty bitchin burgers.

Says the guy who thinks Walnut Creek is too far to go to Target for the scenery.. :teeth

Have any of you guys tried the squeeze inn in Tracy or the Awful Awful in Reno? Awful Awful is up there for me.
Been a couple years but I had some great burgers at Squeeze Inn @ Galt.

Meh...
Man, I had someone flip out on me when I said they were overrated. Don't get me wrong, I'll eat it, but it's not ORALGASMIC. There's much better out there.

My first chain burger was a Big Boy.
My Dad grilled a pretty good burger.
I think Chains are pretty hit or miss now.

ever seen a professional peeler? it's like a giant tumble dryer with sandpaper on the inside.
Was that 30 or 50 grit? :laughing
I operated one aboard ship in the Navy during my Mess Deck Tour of Duty.

Phyllis's Giant Burger in San Rafael? Are they still there? That's a great burger.
