I don't smoke anymore. However some of most memorable smoke breaks were on Rides. XD
A break in Action in the Sierra Foothills. Middle of nowhere on a rarely traveled road. Stopped at an unremarkable scenic secondary road T-intersection. Barbwire fenced in grasslands all around. Two AM radio Antenna towers in the distance. Ten minutes of uninterrupted smoke break.

Best smoke breaks are the one before opening. Opening of the doors, of service, of the wedding or concert.

The final breath of relaxation after the chaos of preparation and before the chaos of an event.

I smoked cigs until I was 30. I’d still smoke if it weren’t bad for me. Loved it then but can’t stand the smell of it now.

I quit 20+ years ago, but I enjoyed smoking and would definitely still be a smoker if not for the health concerns and the cost. I'll bum a cig off somebody every once in a while. A few months ago I got the urge and actually stopped at a gas station to buy a pack, when I saw the $12.12 price I quickly got over it... smoking home grown weed is much cheaper.

That’s right, cigs used to be so cheap.

Now it’s expensive to get lung cancer.

My dad never smoked a single cigarette (or anything else) in his life, and he died of lung cancer.

My mom died of lung cancer from smoking. That’s what got me to finally quit.

I’m sure the Marlboro stock went down a point when that happened. God I loved that red and white box.

I used to enjoy nature observation smoke breaks when riding. Eventually realized I could just stop and observe nature and my bike.

My father got hooked on smoking when he joined the army during WWII. It finally killed him when he was just 54. My wife’s mother/grandmother got esophageal cancer and died with a big hole in her neck. Tobacco is no good.

I remember back in the 70's when more than 50% of adults smoked. You were more of the exception if you didn't smoke.
