Bike Advice - CR125/250 or KTM 125/200

Checked out a KTM 200 MXC tonight, which will be mine Friday afternoon. I haven't ridden a dirty bike in almost 10 years, so should be hilarious.

if you're still looking I have an 01 cr250 for sale, it's setup for the trails and has an excellent power band, easy to control, but roll that throttle and you better have it pointed in the right direction, it's pretty tricked out, has the better carb on it, v force reeds, fmf fatty, black excells, renthal fatbars, if you haven't made a purchase yet let me know if you are interested, it says you are in mountain view, I am in sunnyvale.

I'd be willing to take 2 for it, it hurts me to sell, but I really need a car more than I need a dirtbike, and I'd rather it go to a responsible enthusiast, not some kid who's gonna kill the bike and himself. give me a call if your interested. 408-655-1413

Is the 200 that much better/different than an early 00s CR250?

Ive owned several CR's. They are MX bikes, not trail rides. The KTM has better suspension for the trails. Plus, the adjustable PV can really make you day in the woods better.

Read up on KTM WP suspension, it might not be your cup of tea.

Whats that mean?

If you wanna ride track, go with a CR, KX, RM etc.

If you wanna ride trail, get a KTM. Theres a reason why the woods are full of orange these days.
