bitcoins

Ha. Glad to see the thread back. I purchased some sngls(singularDtv) tokens about 6 weeks ago and I'm up about 60% today. Also I'm in the black on all of my other holdings. In December I spent some btc on a car, btc asics, and my kids camp for the summer. Glad I buy hold and use. The least I'm up is 400% and the most I'm up is 1200% on some tokens. No red. If you bought at 20k, just hold and by the end of the year you will be in the money not out. Once we breach 20k we will hit 50k then probably retrace to 20k before the next major run. We always see a sell off early in the year before hitting ath's again.

Received my dragonmints yesterday. DHL shorted me one miner saying they will find and deliver soon. Got 2 up and running with slush pool an hour ago. Both miners are live and I already got 2 rewards. I'll post up a few videos soon. The dashboard says they are running at 64 and 67 degrees respectively.

Ohhhhhh neat! What was the minimum qty again..? Are you selling some?

I bought a batch of 5 which is the minimum. A friend wanted 2 so we went in together. If you are interested, there is a guy on craigslist selling 10 for $2500 each. Thats less than Halong sells them for. My bet is he is not concerned with the usd price and just wants to increase his btc amount. Genius, but it would have only worked if there was a dip. Which is what happened just like it always does in the beginning of the year.

I bought them in December for a little over .4 btc for 3. The whole batch was .6822 for 5 plus psu's. I will mine that in 3 months. Power should cost about $120 each monthly to run. So less than 6 months. Today they have been averaging 51Th/s combined. They are advertised to run 16 each. I have them ramp up 100% right now. Out of the box they were at 70%

Nice. Enjoy

Im not really a speculator because I mine, and buy to use. My last purchase was at 6060. I buy at every 1k move up or down. I just received a payout for mining which will be use to pay the power bill.
I think what you posted about firms not doing more with blockchain is not accurate. Most if not all tech and banking firms have applied for patents in this space in the last 5 years and been shot down. JPM has been shot down about 175 times in the last 5 years trying to patent this technology. Facebook is rumored to be creating their own currency that will be use for goods and services on that platform. We'll see where this all goes. The company I work for has built out spaces for Ripple and Coinbase and from what I have seen, this technology will only grow.

Oh and Amazon has a partnership with the Ethereum Alliance. In case folks dont know, ethereum is the second largest crypto according to market cap. Of all of the coins in existence, 90% are ethereum based. So Amazon already has invested in blockchain tech.

Soooo coin speculators, how are you doing?

Interesting read...

"If blockchain was truly revolutionary, why wouldn't top tech firms like Facebook, Amazon, Google, and Apple be doing more with it?"
By Terry Lambert, former Sr. Software Engineer at Google

I think in the cycle of revolutions, those guys you mentioned are more likely to be rebelled against than to lead any charges. They're old guard now and just want to keep their positions.
