bitcoins

Nice hodl!

I'm scalping up and down the ltc train. Can't commit my money but Gdax trading is killing me. +10m views in the last month, they can't keep up.

What, if any, is your LTC sell point?

I purchased with the intent of long term hold, or it was making me gobs of money.

So far I'm at 4x ROI. Bought my LTC at $50-$60. I might be close to pulling out...

3x return in less than 3 weeks.

Granted, I only bought 5 litecoins, but that $360 is now over worth over $1200. Less than 3 weeks.

Unless you sold and took the profit, there was no profit at all.

I remember a friend who had tripled an investment. I encouraged her to pull out her original investment but she knew better.

The stock still hasn't returned to that area, and if she were still alive, she'd still be underwater.

Spent 2 hours watching this climb last night from $185.

I've never bought a stock at it's all time high and have don't think it's even possible I can get in without waiting a day or so.

Coinbase needs ssn verification? Thats safe? What are you guys using to buy LTC? It actually seems likely to go higher since BTC continues to rise.

GBTC is traded at stock exchanges.

Remember, there's absolutely zero guarantee that this is going to keep going up. And little likelihood.

If you don't have an exit strategy, you'll probably wait until you get torpedoed. Exit strategy means being able to say: "I'd rather have 2x in my pocket than watch 5x go back to 1x in three hours."

I put in money I could afford to lose. Not worried about it.

Thanks for the lesson.

My plan was to buy and hold. I didn't take it out of the grocery allotment or college savings - it was simply to put in and watch. I could have pulled it out. If it shrinks to worthlessness I'll chalk it up as a loss. One that was cheaper than a night in Vegas and provided several weeks of intrigue.

Unsustainable extremely rapid growth that is unsupported by anything by perception. Go ahead, hop in to get rich too, what could go wrong? :laughing

Just don't be holding it when it all goes boom!

Actually, perhaps not a correction. But a panic of sales.

From some reading, this happened a few times with Bitcoin and Ethereeum (spelling).

Run up in buying causes big time holders to sell and the margins sell offs increase. One point ETH was valued at $0.10.

So these exchanges often halt trading and withdrawals to allow those with millions of dollars in value to sell before it dips anymore. Then it comes back online at a lower price and the regular Joe with thousands is told sorry.

It's working for me and lots of others. Look at the buy/sell on it, moving right along.

Very strange.

Back online now.

I'm probably going to kick myself but coming in at the all time high is something I've never done in stocks, not sure I want to now. Litecoin is up 75% from yesterday. That's insane.

Think I'll look into cannabis related real stocks and hope after the new year when the law passes, the return is good.

I'm a little weary giving coinbase and other exchanges so much info. A couple other like Bitstamp want photos of passport etc. One of the exchanges was hacked by Russia already.

A vehicle for making money stacks things heavily in the favor of the wealthy....imagine that? :laughing

Doesn't every seller need a buyer.

Yes they want to ensure you're who you say you are. Bank's do the same, exchanges do the same.

Why are you worried about it? Bank's are still running Win 2k3 servers. You trust your info and money with them.
