Dubbs. Imagine owning a company that at most had 200k users. Now a month later that company is hosting 13m users. They is literally no way to scale without months of notice prior to the rise in user base.

These companies have maybe 2 - 3 people verifying accounts. It's a manual process and be happy that it's there. It's a safe guard against another MTGox or illegal operation. Remember these places are basically banks and need to verify account info. Can't do it in person so you gotta wait in a line. A line filled with mainstream users that have no fucking clue about crypto and just want a piece of the pie. That amounts to millions of users slamming the system.

Remember now is not the time to buy XRP. Don't FOMO. Be patient, this isn't going away and once you're in, you'll see the bigger picture.

Everything that holds fiat or crypto is a wallet. You purchase a cold wallet called Ledger. A wallet that is online is a hot wallet. I hope you have 2 factor auth set up which would then make the wallet a hybrid wallet.

Poloniex allows XRP trading. You can set up an account there and then transfer your btc to it. Purchase XRP with your BTC and sit.

I advice against buying XRP right now. The swing you're seeing has happened several times with XRP.

Current I hold a lot of XRP and I'm buying more.

Don't FOMO Fear Of Missing Out. That is how you get burned.

All coinbase users are taking profits.

Dangit xrp surged. Not blaming you but my FOBAFOMO cost me a bit.

Doesn't plot well on a linear chart.

I'm not sure what that means. J curve is J curve. It usually shows an exponentially increasing factor.

Like world population from 1850 to now.

Bitcoin is very bubble-ish but with linear charts its harder to recognize the rate at which something is doubling and thats the rate I pay more attention to when something is rallying over a several year period.

Also, the run-up from $30ish to $1700 and subsequent crash to eventually stabilize at around $250 looked almost exactly the same on the way in. It was gut-wrenching at the time, now barely shows up as a blip.

The point of my calling it a classic J curve is to point out that it remained at a very low valuation for most of its life and then suddenly skyrocketed. That's what J curve implies. Doubling is not a metric in any way. If you double a penny, then double than, how much do you have after 30 doublings?

Linear graphs show exactly what has happened with price on a time scale. That's what I want to see. Bitcoins chart shows me extreme inflation and the only question in my mind is how large and how far the downside will be.

How can I get my 22 LTC out of coinbase? Cant sign up on GDAX due to their verification issues (affecting numerous people). Any suggestions?

Wondering if I can send it to a hardware wallet, then send from that to a different exchange.

Unless you're day trading, I'd move your crypto off any exchange.

Your bank account is not verified with Coinbase?

Regardless, you should be able to still sell the BTC/ETH/LTC and then transfer the USD to your account.

Usually takes about 12 hours for cash to hit my account.

My bank account is connected. I’ve already made buys and sells with it. A week or so ago a new verification request keeps popping up when I try to sell. It never works when I input my info. And apparently others are having same issue. Thus I cannot sell on CB. I want to retrieve those funds to use during my move to Austin. Looks like there is no verification request when I input info for a Send however.

Very odd. Just sold off some mined ETH today, twice in fact, and I had no issues. But my verification has long been settled.

You can try Kraken, but I found their site to be a PITA.

I am waiting for Dogecoin to hit it big.
