…Old Coast Road from Bixby bridge has been freshly graded and for the next month should be hero dirt. It's incredibly beautiful and makes a great training ride for upcoming events or simply training for old age.
If you don't want to bite off the whole thing it consists of two divides. From Bixby, going up the first divide and down to Little Sur River crossing gets you 11 miles and 2,601 of crazy fun downhill. You can fill in your own description of the uphill. Going all the way to Andrew Molara State Park and back is good for 22 miles and 4,200 feet of vertical.
There are lots of Youtubes posted. Anyway, the road condition is unusually smooth.
