I still like Lance.
Please. The Tour de France attendance statistics are a joke. They count everyone who comes out of their house to stand by the road and the estimates are hugely suspect. By your logic, World Series victory parades are one of the biggest sports in America...
New Yorker recap of lyin ass Lance's big ass coming out party as a fuckin asshole liar
I'm curious, has Lance lied to you personally, threatened to sue you or beat you in a bicycle race? I ask, because your level of vitriol exceeds that of what we usually see about motorcycle thieves on BARF.
Normally I don't respond to this kind of inquiry because making it personal for any reason seems to encourage trollery.
I'm not trying to troll you.
I haven't seen the interviews yet (am curious to, but don't know if I'll invest the time). From the excerpts I have seen and read, he sounds to be coming pretty clean on what he has done, how it has impacted others and he has acknowledged being egotistical, vindictive and to have believed his own myth.
It's still not clear why he is coming out now. Damage control may be a part of it, though it looks like it's going to be open season for a lot of lawsuits either way. Cleansing the soul? Stranger things have happened, but it's hard to swallow right now. His future behavior will have a lot to say about what his motives are right now.
2 more cycling scams:
1) Carbon fiber frames
If you're not sponsored, it's nothing more than conspicuous consumption. Those parts break frequently and are expensive. It's unsustainable. The only ones who benefit are the corporations... the same corporations who benefited from the Armstrong lie.
2) Gruppo scam
There is no difference between "Dura Ace" and "105". A few grams saved will not make you faster. The slower times post EPO/Test use proves it's the rider not the bike.

I am assuming you had experience, otherwise you just repeating what someone else has said. 2) Gruppo scam

I'll forgive Lance if he goes on a more righteous path and expose the entire sham of a bike industry instead of trying to get back in it.
3) And even more importantly, something that can have a long-term impact on your health........http://www.nytimes.com/2005/10/04/health/nutrition/04bike.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
