Breaking Bad, Cont'd. (SPOILERS!!!)

HANK MOTHERFUCKING SCHRADER!!!

Damn this show for manipulating me. One minute I want to see Hank eat his gun for being a shitheel piece of crap thug, the next minute he almost redeems himself for owning up to what he did, and a minute later he's taking on the axe-and-gun wielding brothers armed only with his SUV.

Who tipped him off? I say Gus. Yeah, even though he set him up.

Really lame cliched scene with the arms dealer. That was serendipitous with me putting my Black Talons up for sale in Grab Bag, maybe demand will drive the price up.

Opposite of the lame cliched scene was the opening scene with the brothers and their uncle. Awesome. Notice his chair looked like a wheelchair. And one of the brothers was pulling the limbs from a doll. Scenes like that and the character development have me hooked.

Oh yeah, further info Gus is South American.

Well that episode sucked balls. What a dissapointment. They spent practically the whole show setting up and justifying ways to keep Jesse when they should have just had him killed. Then that ending. That ending was so freakin LAME! Just when I thought the show was gonna grow some balls and kill off a main character, they pull that lame ass shit. I lost a huge amount of respect for that show after tonite. :thumbdown

They do need to just cut jesse. He's overstayed his usefulness. It would be so much easier to just have him killed. But I like the twist with hank. They can't kill him because he is the only one coming close to catching them. But I wonder who will be sent in the brothers' place.

That was a pretty intense episode! I think Gus wanted the two evil twins gone, so he can keep Walt cooking well into the future.

I think you are corect!! I thought perhaps it was the Private Eye (the man who bugged Walt's old House) that called Hank to warn him, but after reading what you wrote, I'm sure it was Mr. Pollo!!!

I loved that episode!!!!

I have to agree with you guys about wanting to see Jessie off'd. He's nothing but a liability in the long run.

I really liked Walt's nerdy Lab Asst.. He was awesome.

You know the guys South of the Border are going to be pissed about the death of the Twins.... who's going to show up next?????

Also, will this act of bravery earn Hank a spot back on the Police Force??

I Freakin' love this show!!!!!!!

Loved that episode! As soon as Hank surrendered his badge and gun I thought he was dead. I actually thought he was gonna eat it as soon as the elevator doors opened.

"La Familia es todo."

I wonder how many more Salamanca cousins/brothers are out there. :laughing

I agree about Jesse also. I started to like him after he got clean, but then with this bitch ass move about Walt being his get out of jail free card. Bah. He needs to go.

I've been rewatching the first two seasons. The thing that stood out to me is both Walt and Jesse aren't people I'd ever like in real life.

i liked the episode, it was a good action episode. plus anytime jesse gets the living shit beat out of him it increases my approval rating.

so, the shootout and jesse not pressing charges may have saved hank's job, but is it a job he still wants? b/c he sure as heck didn't sound like someone that wanted to stay in law enforcement when he was talking to marie. on the other hand, hank's stress started with the tuco shoot out, maybe this shootout ends it. going full circle?

i don't think the cartel will do anything to hank. dea agents were supposed to be off limits, so they broke the rules going after him: polloman's green light notwithstanding and i doubt the cartel even knew of the green light anyway. think the cartel guy from a couple of episodes back felt he couldn't completely control the twins, so they might not even be too upset.

no doubt polloman either alerted hank or did so through his problem fixer guy. i doubt anyone other than mr pollo, the twins and, hmmm, maybe tuco's uncle knew about it.

nice to see skyler sniffing around asking walt for help and walt putting up the strong front.

i don't think jesse is going to ingratiate himself too much with pollo man. as usual, he will overestimate his value to the operation and do something that endangers everything. then mr pollo just might decide he isn't just walt's problem any more. and where the hell is jane's dad? THAT'S who i was hoping would take out jesse. surely, he must blame him for his daughter's death, he must feel he was responsible and escaped justice and you just don't let that shit slide. besides, this show has always been good about coming up with unexpected twists. so it wouldn't be too surprising if he suddenly showed up again and exacted some revenge.

and next time that scrawny little twat jesse calls someone a bitch, i just might beat the living shit out of my tv.

Uhh, he took himself out earlier in the season bro. Episode 1 or 2 maybe? Ate a bullet.

Edited: My bad. Season 3 Episode 4: http://breakingbad.wikia.com/wiki/Green_Light

Another edit. Looks like he only "attempted suicide" though. Doesn't say anything about him actually being dead. So your scenario could still be possible.

I think they will keep Hank alive because he will play a bigger part in the meth operation. If it was pollo that warned him then Hank owes him and I'm betting Hank will find out about hiesenberg and the whole deal.
Let's not forget that hanks wife is no saint either.

This show has got me so twisted on the plot, I honestly can't even begin to guess what will happen to who next. And that is the kind of show I like. Too bad SOA writing isn't this good.

Yeah, but now that I think of it, Gus letting loose the hounds and then alerting Hank to them just doesn't sound like Gus. He had to know los hermanos would get to Hank right away. Wait, maybe he was setting up the brothers not Hank! Yup, that's it.

i don't think jesse is going to ingratiate himself too much with pollo man.
Oil and water.

and next time that scrawny little twat jesse calls someone a bitch, i just might beat the living shit out of my tv.
I just loved it when he was in the RV and told Hank, "This is my own private domicile. I will not be harassed...... Bitch!" That delayed bitch was classic.

Let's not forget that hanks wife is no saint either.
Nobody is!

Marie: kleptomaniac
Hank: thug
Gus: sent hitmen after Hank, works with thugs
Saul: told Hank his wife was in the hospital after a car collision
Skyler: gold-digger, control freak, cheats on her husband, looks the other way as her boss cooks the books
Walt: watched a girl die instead of saving her, made his son drink too much tequila, torched some asshole's car, etc.
Junior: called his mom a bitch (which actually isn't so bad)

I thought the episode was fantastic. I never really hated Jesse as much as some of you, but now I'm starting to think he's annoying. However he cannot be killed off since he's become an antagonist to Walt.

Walt offering the job to Jesse is in his best interests...plus I think Walt will do whatever he can to not have Jesse "offed." Buuuuuut...having Jesse killed would solve a lot of problems for Walt. In the next few episodes I think Jesse is going to think he's the top dog, not listen to Walt's orders, and get them both into some trouble...fucking Jesse.

I also think the scene at the end with Hank is going to renew his hunger for law enforcement. He's going to want to know who tried to killed him and who tried to warn him. He'll have better resources to answer those questions if he sticks with the DEA.

Once Skylar hears that Jesse is dropping charges she might try to hook back up with Walt and thank him with some sexy times...I think Walt will give her the back of his hand. Maybe Skylar will come round and even help Walt in the future...who the fuck knows?

great plan by mr pollo, but you know tuco's uncle will be back in the story somehow.

yeah, annoying as jesse is, it wouldn't really be the same show without him

Excellent episode tonight. Which each episode I like Gus more and more. Did he have anything to do with that other Cartel guy getting raided and shot? Probably...

It's too bad one of the assassins died...him recovering and possibly talking could have led to some awesome scenes im sure.

walt mentioned he's scared for his family to gus again.
i still think gus is going to go after the family. maybe next season.

also everyone in walt's family and hank's family is one piece of info away from discovering walt is making meth with jessie. i imagine it's going to come out and a big cluster fuck will happen.

lots of potential for season 4.

I was disappointed with tonights episode. But i know it's the calm before the storm. I feel like Hank has to find out this season, but won't be able to do anything about it for some reason.

if you put some of the things we know together you can possibly make sense of some of this. gus has/had cartel ties from somewhere. he knew and i am betting arranged the killing of the other cartel leader only because things were getting messy and he didnt need an inside war on his hands. gus had to be the one that warned hank as he was the only one who knew the assasins were going after him because he set hank up for it.
there's no way walt would have kept cooking if his DEA brother in law was killed by cartel hitmen so gus had to do something. Im pretty sure walts wife knows he is involved only because when he got the phone call from jessie while at the hospital walt asked his wife
'you know who that was dont you" and she gave him a nasty look and walked away.
I cant wait to see the next episode as im sure some bad shit is about to go down. But i will stick to my original guns and say hank will be involved in the meth game soon enough or walt will be used to take down gus's empire by hank and the dea
