Breaking Bad, Cont'd. (SPOILERS!!!)

that was amazing! watched it via on-demand last night.

Walt outplayed them.
Chess game Check mate!

Walt was spinning the gun on the table in his backyard near that plant.
He came up with the entire plan right by his pool where he found the teddy bear missing the eyeball.

He knew the only place Gus would ever slip up would be based on Emotion.
Hector Salamanca was willing to die as long as he took Gus with him.

Edit: I thought that perhaps Skyler poisoned the kid. But after thinking it out, its probably not likely.

That chick does so much dumb shit that she thinks is good. She is not smart and she is reckless. And Walt did have his alibi's strait, so its somewhat logical considering the plant being shown in the backyard. But then again how or why would she know or want to get back at Gus through Jesse. It was definitely Walk, since he knew he had to get Jesse back on board.

And I agree, Walt certainly starts cooking now that he knows whats up and what it can be. The car wash is a perfect front, granted it doesn't have a large basement or anything.

"I won"

so much awesomeness in that!

and yes, Walt poisoned the kid.

I think for next season we'll see Mike more involved, as a central player. Remember, he has to be pissed. He lost a group of guys and his meal ticket. I doubt he's going to lose sleep over his guys, but he'll miss the $$$.

I just started the series. It's excellent but watching it makes me somewhat despondent.

I see Walt as an allegory of America's decline in the age of Obama: a brilliant high school chemistry teacher working part-time at a car wash to make ends meet. He's later cooks pure meth in order to pay out-of-pocket medical costs after being diagnosed with lung cancer. So what else is new with Obamacare? :thumbdown

Really? You're bringing politics into this thread?

He took him hostage, forced him to use the elevator and get the second thug to open up, then shot both. LIKE A BOSS!

Good point. Need to remember that Walt and Skyler have pretty much burned through all the money. I suspect Walt's cancer will come back and that will prompt him to keep cooking with Sklyer's full blessing.

Walt just better not buy one of those HEPA filters.:laughing

They havent burned through all of the money. They've been laundering it through the car wash, which means it isnt cash on hand. The cash money they had stashed was mostly given to Ted. They still have PLENTY of money.

I'm thinking Walt poisoned the kid to try to get Jessie on his side again, which obviously worked.

I wonder what direction they'll take next season.

jessie finds out that walt poisoned the kid, then game is on - jessie and walt dualling it out as mortal enemies. they were already on each other this season, next season it should be full on war.

jessie comes into his own next season as a bad-ass comparable to gus; we saw glimpses of his maturity this season when he put the mexican chemist in his place. and i think we'll see next season jessie coming into his own.

walt is a cold blooded killer - he's finished his transformation. now it's jessie's turn.

That was EPIC!!!!!

I'm in Mexico working. My hotel does not have AMC network.

So, I just watched it online. It was EPIC!!!!!

I started cracking up when Walt called his neighbor to have her check the house!! Walt is hardcore.

Yeah, I figured the old biddy would catch a couple rounds while Walt ducked under the dashboard.

can't wait but I'm trying to decide if I should wait to get them all recorded and watch in one sitting...
