Blew up my track bike so will be doing a few days on my street zx10r. Was wondering if anyone has run A group pace on S21s and how they held up.

Also wondering if anyone knows of a 200 rear would fit a gen1 zx-10r rear wheel.

A guy in the zx6r forum has ran those in A group. He's from Texas so I'm sure heat is higher up there but he says they are definitely capable

i run 200 all the time high speeds stable as hell love it. I ran very used rs10s A group 0 problems its all about style i guess

What are your lap times at Sonoma or Thunderhill. If you aren't doing mid 1:50's at T-hill or mid 1:45's at Sonoma you'll be fine. I have 200/55 set on my hopped up FZ1 and I've ran them pretty hard. I ran Q3's before at Laguna and I was running with some fast guys in A group on my FZ1. This was my first trackday and was just a little slower than you on my FZ1 with slightly used Q3's. I short shifted and went so slow past the sound booth...still did some 1:43's-45's. Q3's & S21's on a well set up bike with equal rider are capable of doing mid 1:35's at Laguna...probably quicker. These S21's are damn good...I'd say very close to the Q3's. I'm bringing my GSXR1000 slick shod track bike to Laguna next month and my FZ1 shod with S21's. I'll try the S21's in the first cooler session just to see what they can do. Are you going to Laguna next month? I'll be there 11/12/17. Later
