BST wheels?

does that mean you can't use some garbage tyresox and it's okay to use CH's? or warmers altogether so long as it doesn't wrap around the wheel itself?

i still wouldn't buy them just cause it's not cost effective and i'm not fast enough to really appreciate it's awesomeness. that's about 2-3 seasons worth of tires for those wheels.

:wtf You can't use side-curtain warmers on BST's?

That's weaksauce. :thumbdown

I guess... $100 tire warmer against your $3000+ BST wheels.

Sort of like throwing your $20 Wii controller against your $3000 Plasma TV?

sounds like material properties to me

they're saying that tirewarmers aren't very precise in their temp controls, and might be prone to failure. use whatever tirewarmers you like, but don't let the rims get higher than 80C or you'll surpass their design limits.

you won' be disappointed. better and stronger than stock.

Quick question. I have been looking for a set that have them stock but none of the e-retailer that i use seems to have the wheels and hub for the Duc S4Rs. Do you mind sharing where did you get yours? Thank you

Please post up creditable data on your conclusion. Funny how people pass judgment on things they don't have. I personally know a fellow rider who got a set of these 3 years ago. The same set of wheels have been on two GSXR1000's and have seen nothing but everyday street use. I recall seeing both bikes several times.

Not a single issue with these wheels.

I'm not the guy you're thinking of, but I've had real world success with BSTs too. I've run two sets in the past (back in the scary "BSTs made a Ducati crash" days), one on an 01 RC51 then another set on a 04 ZX10R. In both cases I did my own tire changes with a Coates manual machine, rode both bikes commute and trackdays. Yep, spent a fortune but the handling difference was beautiful. And never a problem with either set. Both were sold to happy new owners when I sold those bikes. YMMV.
