"Burning Man 2017" Caution: May Contain Burning Man

Didn't burning man or it's corporation or non-profit or head honcho buy a massive tract of land out there and close all the hot springs that had been used publicly for-pretty-much-ever?

I seem to remember some news about this but can't find it anywhere.

I've been, decades ago, you could go to the hot springs.

He was most certainly not a scapegoat. He was guilty as sin.

I think what you meant to say is he was made an example of. Which I am fine with.
Just because there are many burglars in the world does not mean I think the one that gets caught should get a pass.
 
For years burning man was my reset button. 7-10 days on the playa and work worries were completely melted away for me. Its been a few years since I last went but I'm always thinking about "next year" because it really is ridiculously fun to hang at a 24hr party for over a week with your close friends.

Still have my trike and boozie sno-cone making setup ready to go somewhere. :thumbup
 
I don't have anything meaningful to say about Burning Man but I wanted to say that this might be the best thread TITLE of the year. It makes me laugh everytime I see it.
