Calling all artist/designers

I am in the process of designing a patch at the request of some of the "Misfits" I've been riding with.

I unfortunately haven't had the full time to design something spectacular but have come up with some ok design's in my opinion.

I would love your opinion and am hosting a poll to find out which is the better option.

I also would like to ask for some other design's from any artist out there if they have time/energy to make something up.

requirements are:
The word Misfits somewhere on the patch.
A Koi fish, Fish skeleton something fishy
I would like to include BARF on the patch or atleast
They shouldn't be so overwhelmingly complex that it will cost an arm and a leg to get them produced.
They should be in the range of 2-3 dollars

I like patch# 2 but I like on top BARF'S on the bottom MISFITS with the same font you have there. I dont care for the fingered salute becasue of conservative and young people that might be interested in our group.

I dont what to express the wrong idea of who we are. We are a group of not the same as each other (misfits) but that we join together in support of each other. To me the salute with the fingers represent a disrespectful group of thugs.

I think you can do better..would be cool if the patch was shaped like a Koi...but I am sure that is more expensive..but maybe Koi's Misfits and we do need B.A.R.F. or the BARF logo...or both..so it is just not a double salute..if you see B.A.R.F. with it..would make more sense! I think a sideview of a koi would be better?

Hopefully you get some designers come forward!

Yup, going to change it to B.A.R.F

Not sure about a side shot, koi are always more beautiful from above as that's wot they're bred for. You don't see too many of them from the side in a pond, you're usually looking down.

Will continue working it as time allows but definitely hope someone steps up with a hand drawn amazing design or something.

That is so what I thought, unfortunately that is beyond my artistic talent... and honestly what I was hoping some bored artist would draw up.... anybody???

Dude it ain't about that. If you are doing ANYTHING with a barf logo, you should be checking with budman. He may say all clear mang. He may not.

Well I sent him a message just for good measure...

I do have to say, The word BARF is not something I feel bad about using, nor the logo. Especially since I didn't use the one from the site I can't see a copyright issue being in place. If it's that big of an issue with the community, I won't ask for help or opinions but that does not mean I am not going to do it if I am asked too.

If you don't think I should do it that's fine.

If you can help as you are an artist/designer and have an idea and some free time, even better, say so and show off your skills!!!!!!

If you are just here for an argument, it's one Pound for 5 minute argument, and only 8 for a course of 10......
