Full throttle till I see god, then Brake
My coworker lost his motorbike in the Carr fire and I was surprised how much was left after the fire.

It was in the garage. He had just moved into the house so there wasn't much other than the Motorcycle that was in the garage.

Hint... It was Manufactured in 2014

Goddamn, that is horrific.

I’m more surprised that there’s anything left resembling a helmet.

I thought that at 1st also but I think it's a fuel tank.

Btw I just want to clarify I was not making light of a sad moment. He has already been compensated for the bike by the insurance company. So it's not all that bad.

I just wanted to share how much this doesn't resemble a motorcycle anymore and how hot that firestorm was.

It is a thumper right? With a metal gas tank?

I was kind of hoping for a Fireblade.

Coworker who lives up that way and has been involved in recovery said last week that the fire is estimated to have been up to 2300 degrees in some places. I don't know if that is normal for a wild land fire but seems pretty damned high to me.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Wow you must know your bikes that was quick. There is a v-twin and luggage boxes in that mess.

I recognized the crash bars and tank. I have a '12 DL650.

My brother lost his home in the Tubbs fire and all the expert analysis up there said up to 2700 degrees so not surprising. Bro was mentioning having to get a sharp new chainsaw to remove trees because they all got extremely "seasoned" and hard as nails. :(

Amazing how little survived the fire, anything aluminum including the rims must have burned up completely. I'm surprised the fork triple clamp is gone, I guess those can be aluminum too.

It is incredible the amount of destruction a fire like that leaves behind, reminds me of the Oakland hills fire.Everything just vaporized in an instant

The house this motorcycle was in was in the city. It got caught in the firenado. Geee I wonder what the next epic disaster movie will be about after all the news coverage of the fire funnel cloud.

The rock staring in firenado.
