Cannibis use, whether smoked or eaten, linked to greater heart issues.

I had to quit 30 years ago due to my commercial license and the new (then)DOT random testing.
I’m retiring next year and am looking forward to a toke and trying edibles to lessen some damage to the lungs.
Definitely will be a casual user.

I am not an edible guy. Will indulge once in a blue moon. A different high that does not do it for me.

I like my 94 percent THC content, white THC powder with some kief. One hit will get me nicely buzzed.

I think my brain is wired differently. I can smoke A LOT of weed and never get lazy or sit around... it has always made me want to go and do stuff.
Edibles, however, do sedate me. I usually do edibles before bed, or if I'm going to attempt to sit thru a movie or a concert (I can rarely sit thru a movie, or even a tv show.) I can do 4 or 5 times the amount that puts most people under (combination of size and tolerance.)
But I've always processed drugs differently. Back in the day I did coke pretty regularly... it always made me calm and quiet. :laughing

I usually bring some mild cookies on the rallies to share with anyone who wants them.

Reminds me I should knock a batch out for Weaverville.

I had a lot of fun doing a wide variety of drugs back in the 70's and 80's... back when drugs were safe and fun. :laughing
I would love to go back and do it again, but without all the drinking. I've learned that drugs have a better effect when you aren't hammered on alcohol.
Oddly, I've always been strongly opposed to taking any rx drugs that a doctor has prescribed for me... go figure. :x

in high school and the first year of college I was pretty chronic but I joined ROTC to help pay for college so became an infrequent user, fear of testing. I might take a toke once or twice a year if I trust the source but generally stick to alcohol. When I broke my collar bone in 2012 my BFF I called to unload my moto from the tacoma gave me a hit of pot and yes it lessened the pain. I can see the medical benefit from it but I think daily use can backfire. When I was chronic I always felt that if I didn't get out in nature I was wasting the high.
