CannonBall Run to Rocky Point, Mexico! May 18 to 21st....

Do you guys have a map of where you went?.. Was it a loop or same road each way?..

I wanna see that video!! :drool

some roads were the same, and some weren't. we went out of mexico the way we went in, but it was like a whole new road (180 miles worth) cause we did it the first time in total darkness, so you couldn't see anything to the sides of the highway. and it was a two lane road, with no shoulders really. a cool think about driving in mexico, which the guys also learned, is that the truckers help people out. it is uncourteaous (sp?) to not change your lights, when you have the high beams on. mexicans use their lights a lot. they'll flash you when there is trouble, an accident or something to watch out for. and they'll lower their high beams if you flash them. the truckers will stop and help you, as noted on our way out, with some 4x4 that was buried to the axle, cause I presume they were trying to rip around off road, and got bogged down. plus, when you are on curves, they will signal you that it's okay to pass on the left, with their blinker, or signal to the right, that it's not okay to pass. if you've never dealt with it, people tend to not trust it. but they were cool, and made for oh, so much fun riding over there.

That's the route with the exception of, at Yucca Valley we went west to the 10 instead of east on the 62. We then took the 10 to the 86.

Gotcha. Fixed it, and here's an overview of the whole thing. From Morgan Hill it measures out to 835.1 miles. From Rick's house it's 896.7. :wow

At the speed limit, it estimates 17 hours and 16 minutes...how long did it take you guys?

ziad, that is the shit. thanks man. i think i clocked like 938 miles total. so somewhere in there, we added some miles, probably on wrong turns and pulling off for gas and shit. i got up at 0630, arrived at morgan hill, 0730 and we took off promptly, and we arrived at midnite. so about 17 + hours. we did stop for food, and gas, and took some rest at the gas stops. still a long freaking day.

keep it in your pants frogboy.
