some roads were the same, and some weren't. we went out of mexico the way we went in, but it was like a whole new road (180 miles worth) cause we did it the first time in total darkness, so you couldn't see anything to the sides of the highway. and it was a two lane road, with no shoulders really. a cool think about driving in mexico, which the guys also learned, is that the truckers help people out. it is uncourteaous (sp?) to not change your lights, when you have the high beams on. mexicans use their lights a lot. they'll flash you when there is trouble, an accident or something to watch out for. and they'll lower their high beams if you flash them. the truckers will stop and help you, as noted on our way out, with some 4x4 that was buried to the axle, cause I presume they were trying to rip around off road, and got bogged down. plus, when you are on curves, they will signal you that it's okay to pass on the left, with their blinker, or signal to the right, that it's not okay to pass. if you've never dealt with it, people tend to not trust it. but they were cool, and made for oh, so much fun riding over there.
I thought he was from Houston?
