cheapest price for blank DVD's?

funny thing about those fuji's, they just sent me a letter saying my rebates maybe invalid cause i didn't buy a burner w/ it...:rolleyes now i need to reprint the receipt and send it in again....

i think amazon still has the verbatim 8x 100pk for $30 shipped...i was going to get more but i have a few spools still unopened.

I bought 2 25-packs of GQ x4 Inkjet Printable +R's.

I've got a DRX510UL, and some other Pioneer drive.

The GQ's write fine, but, skip during playback. =( Sucks that I bought so many before testing them.

I've used the following w/ NO problems at all.

Sony, Memorex, Verbatim, and Ritek.
 
What the??? that's horrible. What's even worse is that they're not even good media!

You'll get your rebate man; as long as you purchase them between 11/22/04-12/31/04. It states right here that you can purchase both media & drive separately. Print this out too wehn you reprint your receipts.

haven't tried most of the media on this page but works excellent on ridata's. From mackey's post he's not able to do overburns (I've never tried) But overall a very good burner. If I had to buy another then I'd probably go for the plextor however as it has a 8 mb buffer instead of the Sony's 2mb. I think either compusa or bestbuy has em for $100 cool ones. Here's the specs:

cool...there are other hardware/pgms that will convert vhs- dvd (requires comp) for cheaper; but if you want a simple plug n play setup this would be it!

btw, i haven't had an issue w/ the fuji's yet. verified data check on all of em, no coasters or bad sectors.
