Clean air sticker......

" der r 7 dayz of May n der is a poster frm May 2008 who has 2 green rep points aredy and starts a flame war "

weerid.

Good point. What's the beef with clean air and vehicles that don't pollute? :blah

Why don't you just cut to the chase and stencil "fuck nature" to the side of your bike? :blah :blah
Either way, you need to "get a f___ing" hobby."

:rolleyes You guys just don't get it. "It" being a joke.

You're doing this :blah when you should be doing this :|

Not to interrupt the show, but if you want some "G" rated motorcycle propaganda, Aerostich has some stuff...(license plate holders, stickers, etc)

Okay, back to the conversation-electricity is fun, but battleships & subs go nuclear. Wouldn't you love to see a nuclear powered Hayabusa? :laughing

Hmmmm....

Joined yesterday.

4 posts so far. (How'd he get the rep?)

Refers to himself as a "Backroad Bully"

Says his interests are "Squid Hunting"

Says he rides a 'Busa.

I wonder if he's that first time rider/lawyer awhile back who got all bent out of shape because people were steering him away from a Busa as a first bike? :laughing

Well, I know I gave him rep, but it was still one square when I clicked it, so I must not be the only one to have a sense of humor and rep him for his. :thumbup

Sarcasm, insults, and finishing off with 'fuck you's' doesn't work very well as humor.

im going to remove all the stickers from the bike and see if looks better.

So, the OP tells me to:

"Fuck you"
"Fuck your opinion"
"Fuck your sticker and graphic free hippy lifestyle"
"and fuck all those asses out there that are on this green 'trend'"

And then I give a bit of it back to him and then someone thinks I'm the one who deserves negative rep? What's up with that? The OP's comments in that particular post didn't have even the hint of humor or good naturedness in it and reeked of ill will. Most especially coming from someone who up to that point only had been on BARF for one day and had only made 3 or 4 posts up to that point.

Someone want to explain the negative rep? (Not that I really care, but it just doesn't make any sense.)

No worries perhapso the OPso also gotsa negative reps.

Time to turn this thread into a "we're all so bent we're getting negative reps" thread!

This guy gets it:thumbup ST guy doesnt:thumbdown

Yes I think its a funny sticker, I do adorn my bike cars and body with decals and graphix. Yes Im fully aware of the ups and downs of electric motors as well as combustion. I do find usage of the word fuck funny as well. George Carlin did a great bit on 7 words, one of them being Fuck. People seem to find him funny. Do I like clean air, sure who doesn't?

However, hybrid vehicles in CURRENT FORM(as in now days, what we have available to the mass public, not John Lennon's imagination land) are no better then the internal combustion engine. It still pollutes, just in a different way. Those huge batteries need to get swapped every 5-10 years and again electricity comes from......

As for me I own sports bikes. Sport being the key, as in for fun. I ride for the fun of it. Sure it helps in commuter traffic. But overall it's something I do to make me happy. Will I pick up trash at the beach, yeah. I recycle too. Could I do more yeah. but I don't fool myself into thinking my track days or weekend rush through skyline won't catch up with the planet.
I just get sick of seeing the Prius with clean air access stickers on it when its still just as much of an enviornmental hazard. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you also ride your bike for fun sometimes. Is that good for the air? Maybe you tell yourself well it's only a little gas it is a motorcycle after all. How much could it pollute? Oh I know Ill go on a message board and preach and that will compensate. Well it doesn't. Your still doing your part to screw up the eco system just like the rest of us.

You give me your 2 cents don't be shocked if I through 2 pennys back. I asked about a sticker not a lecture from Al fucking Gore :wow

Now excuse me I need to go club some cute baby seals cuz I think thats funny to
