Wow, i just found some color pictures of the show. They were actually green.

I guess that dates me. Our family never had a color TV.

You may be correct. But we still never had a color TV.

I can remember going over to a friend's house to watch the Wizard of Oz. At that point in my life, I had only seen it on our black and white TV. I had no idea that most of the movie was made in color. So, while watching it, I thought "I've seen this before. Hoo-hum." Then, when Dorthy opened the door to her home which had just landed in Oz, I was completely blown away. That was my introduction to color TV.
 
We went over to the Hibbard's to see their color TV.

Now my 65" 4k OLED is considered "small"! :laughing
