Having worked with the blind I want to say. . . . the unaccompanied sightless could be saved, yep that's the right word, from stumbling into a situation that would inspire a Mel Brooks movie.

Yes, the sign was ironic to the sighted, but was needed for the sightless. Having watched them ski, play golf and soccer I'd not be surprised to find them at a gun range. I might edge toward the exit, but still . . . .
 
Decades ago I watched as a blind man flew my hang glider ending in a sweet landing. The "Don't touch wet paint" is the Braille winner for me.
