If you get a game with a bad connection where you lose every surprise encounter, when you pull the trigger before or at the same time as your enemy, start camping. Otherwise you'll go 1-14 if you try to run n gun.

What sucks for me is I usually start strong, like 4-0, when my team is facing their team then I go downhill after it turns into a furball and everybody is spread out and mixed up.

I need to learn the maps better. Seems like everywhere I go someone comes up behind and kills me.

It might be that you're running around and sprinting and making too much noise. Or the other guys have heartbeat, UAV, whatever but if you crouch or go prone you make a lot less noise and a lot of the pros use headphones to play and will find you.

if you are run and gun type instead of camping type, learning maps is huge advantage. i now have a few paths i take through certain stages where i feel they keep me safe from getting ambushed, not running around in open, and usually let me sneak up on people.

level 69 now, half way to 70, once I hit prestige I might do single player :p

Cool because the ops on charlie and onwards are almost impossible to do solo.

I'll be on a lot this weekend FINALLY! I'm also down for spec ops anybody needs help. :) I haven't tried spec yet but it looks way fun.

I'll be on tonight. Send out party invite if you're playing Deathmatch.

Also, pro tip, staying toward the outside of the maps and moving around the map works really well. less places to get snuck up on from.

Hell, right now i'd get fucked up. My close-range is a G18. Using that with the FAL with FMJ and heartbeat monitor.

I like the FAL, but I need more just in case I run into a guy CQB ; so I just started using the M16 w/ Red Dot, Marathon Pro, Cold Blooded and Ninja. I haven't been on in 2 days, but the past 20 maps or so I've held a good 2.0 ratio in CTF. We'll see how better I get.. It's a little easier to kill ppl here than it is COD4 so I've got to work on my positioning.

I want the M16, but i'm not there yet. Only lvl 30 or so so far. The Glock is a GREAT close quarters weapon. Red dot scope and FMJ makes it really do some damage.

I'm also ramping up the P90.

FAL is great in hardcore, but in core i don't like it.

so the AK-47 is badass :)

I really want to get into Hardcore after I unlock more stuff. I played a few rounds, got my ass kicked pretty good (usually broke even), but I dug it. I reminds me of goldeneye one-shot-kills :laughing

LMFAO. Check out this knife kill.

That reminds me of the crazy kills with sticky gernades in Halo3.

Anyone on right now? Only got Rel & Factor on my list from Barf and neither seems to play Spec Ops much.

GT = Odd Reflex
