Correlation with being Regular/Goofy Foot and preferring Left or Right Turns ?

Goofy. Right turns are my preference.
 
I'm not goofy foot, and I'm not sure I favor turning one direction vs the other. I do tend to be slower in RH turns because - in general - the sightlines are shorter, and I try to ride within my sightlines, but I'm equally comfortable turning either direction.
 
Amazing how many people posted up on this saying they are mixed left/right for different things. I thought I was sort of an oddball on that.

I’m right handed, and throw right. But I played soccer in high school and sandlot football before that - always kicked lefty. I can kick pretty well right, tho, if needed. Shoot long arms lefty. Picked up a guitar lefty, and my instructor made me switch. Said left-handed guitars are too hard to come by and too expensive.

I don’t surf or skateboard, but I waterski on a slalom with my left foot back. Does that make me goofy?

Love my left turns on the bike. After pondering this once in a while over the years I’ve concluded it has to do with where your hands and arms are relative to throttle, in a similar vein to what @tzrider said, The ergos for lefts are just better in terms of being able to make fine adjustments on the throttle.

So, no, I don’t believe there’s a correlation between hand or foot dominance and turn preference. Then again, I don’t know squat about it scientifically, so take that with a grain of salt. I wonder what ai has to say about this - anyone check?
 
Like you and others, I have cross dominance’s; right eyed, left handed, right footed. But it doesn’t explain all of my preferences: I write and eat with the left, play tennis left, swing a hammer left, an axe from the right, drills in either hand, hand planes in the right, screwdrivers in the left, bat right, shoot right, fight in right stance, prefer to kick right, play guitar right, play drums with a right handed setup and seem to have higher grip strength in my right hand.

I should probably just write right handed too, because my writing couldn’t be much worse.
 
I am fairly right hand dominate, but I have noticed since I started riding a dozen or so years ago that my left side is more "useful." I am pretty nerdy and stuck in my head about details, and I worked hard to balance out my riding, in particular, my left/right turn efficiency. I do feel like I need to pay a bit more attention to right turns to match what I do more naturally, turning left, but at this point, it feels pretty even.

I have been a cyclist for my entire life, starting with rear coaster brakes a million years ago, and progressing to hand brakes, with the front brake in my left hand. Despite friends talking about having issues riding motorcycles after cycling with the front brake in their right hand, I never had an issue with that. For me, I just thought about all the throttle and braking were on the right, with the shifting on the left. But far more than driving manual transmission cars, motorcycles seemed to "train" my left side considerably more. Now, I can use a drill or screwdriver in my left hand far more efficiently than I could before riding. Riding definitely seems to balance the left/right brain function in my experience.
 
After riding motos, my bicycle front brakes got switched, for my calibrated right brake hand.
I still marvel at my extremely calibrated clutch hand, all those stuck pushing, in a muddy sidehill, rocky drops, and a footpeg stuck in a bush.
I escaped.
