Curve Unit 8th Annual PBTF Fundraising BBQ - August 20th

alert: I think (pfs) the Alum Rock/ White road area will be closed because of the "Salsa Festival"...

Take McKee rd, NOT Alum Rock. You have been warned.

Maybe I'll try some mod tricks, which I am clueless...

Hummmm

Little Quimby run may be in order before...

I'm getting a late start and leaving Hayward with a couple of quick errands to run. Likely arriving about 3:00 via Quimby... don't sell out of BBQ because I'm starving and not very friendly when I'm famished. :D

So.. how was it? I ended up having to go after reaching Quimby due to some mechanical issues :|

Great people, delicious food :drool and sooooo many raffle prizes!!

Turnout was nice -- I made a few new friends, saw some old ones, and no - didn't win anything this time, except a nice feeling of donating to a good cause. :)

Thanks, CU!! :thumbup

Ok folks, final tally was $4000!

Mad props to our loyal supporters for riding out with a wallet full of charitable donations! All of you are testament to the timeless saying, "It's about quality, not quantity." Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for spending your beautiful Saturday with CU, and for making a difference in your community.

CU's campaign is far from over, so if you were unable to attend the BBQ but still care to contribute, please do so at http://www.Firstgiving.com/fundraiser/CurveUnit. Also, you're encouraged to join us on the Ride For Kids, held Sunday October 2.
