Yep. Who was that martial artist who was awesome but got shot after trying to chase down a guy who hit his car and drove off?
I am sure he wasn't as superbad as little Ed, but still, shit happens!!

Sometimes in life it's better to take a beating or get arrested then to just take the shit. I'm not the billy badass of BARF (like Brown, but it's this simple:
I'm not taking any shit
from some dickhead guy on a bicycle.
I remember that. The perp shot him point blank in the face. He was a world famous martial artist. All the karate, judo, wrestling, krav marga in the world didn't help him.

Shame they never caught the guy.
You definitely don't want to mess with Krav Margerine.
Not unless you have a whole boatload of katyushas.
Tough situation. Sorry about the experience."You'll think twice about doing that again motherf****r. Rubbin's racin' and you cut me off. I know which bike is yours now and it's toast motherf***r, toast." I tried to apologize but he just rode off saying "I don't want to hear it, your bike is gonna be f****d."

The move you performed is known to cyclists as the "right hook". It's very dangerous, and very common, where a motor vehicle operator perceives a bicycle as a stationary object, passes them, and immediately turns to the right across their path. I've been hit by cars this way a couple of times, it's not fun. Not justifying his behavior in any way, but please be aware that bicycles are out on the roads with you, and are even more vulnerable than you are as a motorcyclist.
You see, if you remember AGATT, this thing is a non-issue.
In the real world, OP could have gotten his ass kicked, his bike trashed, and had no recourse at all when the dude took off into the sunset on his bike. Grow up bros.
Various drivel re: bikes can't stop, can't go 20mph, can go 70mph, law says merge, BARFers are punks because it's okay for us and not for them, etc.
Even more drivel about the rider being pumped up, having a bad day, etc.
Various boasting about beating the guy up
if you can't stop from 20 mph, don't ride that way.
I think you're missing a unit of measure.
I passed a cyclist right before I turned right into the free bike parking area downtown, and gave him plenty of space. Moments later he rides into the parking area after me and says "You'll think twice about doing that again motherf****r. Rubbin's racin' and you cut me off. I know which bike is yours now and it's toast motherf***r, toast." I tried to apologize but he just rode off saying "I don't want to hear it, your bike is gonna be f****d."
I've got a mint condition Triumph Daytona 675. I love it. I don't want to see it damaged by some psycho cyclist. What do I do? Should I move it to one of the metered bike parking spots for a few days? I was thinking of taping a note to my windshield apologizing if he felt I cut him off, and explaining that I work for a non-profit and saved long and hard for the bike. Or is he bluffing?
