Dawn to Dark Yosemite Ride - May 29th

I'd like to join you guys on this ride. Last time couldn't get approval for Death Valley, but I think this time I'll just take the day off and ride... then seek forgiveness.

It has been a long time. First ever Barf ride I went on. Pretty sure I am coming:)

Hello all,

This is my first reply in BARF. I hope it works. Are newbies welcome? I'm new to BARF, but not new to riding. I'd love to get the Beamer out on a good haul, if I'm welcome and can get my act together after the Sheetiron this weekend.

Just for y'alls information, I sweep group rides. Gots my band-aids and baling wire all ready. :thumbup

EDIT - And if you see a yellow & black blur passing and pulling over, it's me getting my speed fix... :rofl

When you zoom ahead, I can take over sweep. My bike is pretty low performance and can't corner worth a dime (something scrapes the ground and I try to avoid that), so a slow pace is perfect for me.

Plus, with 16 gal of storage capacity, I'll be able to pack lots of flares should we need to signal the ride leader!
 
Depending on attendance and/or tolerance for the "moderate" pace, we may break into two groups. In that case two leads and two sweeps will be needed.

Looks like I'm out, couldn't get schedule changed back after requesting it to be changed...

now working on getting it changed to sat-sun off :party

So you're caging it, is what you're saying...
 
Gotcha, misunderstanding of what you'd be using the 16 gallons for.

As to sweeping, I occasionally just like to let the ponies run wild for shortish distances. :thumbup
