Here is a resource for when we get set free to ride once again. At least really travel without scrutiny!

If you have some to add please post up. If you have things to say about specific restaurant please post up.

Also if camping and more ADV types of journeys check this thread
ADV motivation pics: camp spots, hot springs, views, etc.

On of the joys of moto travel is stopping for a good meal. :ride

I like to stop at the Priest Station Cafe if I'm riding that way (e.g. to/through Yosemite, or 49).

My go-to stops.

Hope Valley Cafe, Hwy 88. Great food and PIE!

Alps Haus Cafe, Markleeville Great Sandwiches.

50's Cafe, Knight Ferry for Breakfast.

Whoa Nellie Deli, Lee Vining for lunch.

Mountain View Bar-B-Q, Walker for lunch.
or Walker Burger if you don't want Bar-B-Q

Priest Station Cafe, top of Priest Grade for lunch.

Happy Burger, Mariposa just after you ride the little dragon.

Mountain View BBQ in Walker seems popular with riders, and I think I discovered it in a BARF discussion like this one. Only been once, but I enjoyed the meal & location. On 395 between Monitor & Sonora passes

Thanks guys,

Yeah I thought we did this before too.. this time I will make sure to keep it around for good use. :ride

Tioga Pass Resort, just east of Tioga Pass, is known for their pie. Lots of camping nearby (disbursed & campgrounds), which makes it convenient for an evening meal.

For something upscale.

Convict Lake Resort Dinner only. 3 Star Restaurant off Hwy 395

The Ahwahnee, Yosemite NP. Lunch much cheaper than dinner, same great view one of the great NP lodges.

A taste of Wyoming - before I ride up Mt. Hamilton
Flapjack - before I ride down Airline Highway
La Plaza Bakery - when in King City
Neptune's Cove - when in Malibu
Mother's Kitchen - Palomar Mountain

Bravas Bar De Tapas in Healdsburg is probably the best place I discovered on a ride. Popular. It was packed, but there was bar seating.

Phil's Fish Market, Moss Landing
Tomales Bakery, Tomales
Hamburger Ranch, Cloverdale
Stewart's Point Store, Stewart's Point at the entrance to Hwy 36
Buster's BBQ, Calistoga, hate the food but it's quite the gathering spot for riders
Gott's Roadside, St. Helena

The most famous rider eat/hangout joint in California
The Rock Store

Lucas Warf in Bodega Bay and Mariachis in Anchor Bay are often visited on the same ride.

Cool. Keep ‘em coming.

I prefer more riding time over eating so I generally don't stop to eat unless the ride is way over 6 hours.

La Plaza Bakery in Green Field is my go-to tacos place when I go down to Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd.
https://www.yelp.com/biz/la-plaza-bakery-greenfield?osq=La+Plaza+Bakery

Tres Aguaves Taqueria is my go-to burritos place when I ride to Coalinga.
https://www.yelp.com/biz/tres-aguaves-taqueria-y-paleteria-coalinga?osq=tacos

I don't have a favorite place up north (Skaggs Springs Rd, Berryessa-Knoxville to Lower Lake, or Point Reyes Station area), so I often skip a meal when I go in that direction.

The close ones I might go to alone.
The further away the more social the ride.

And.... they qualify for the Gary test too. :teeth

The Fields Station
Station House every Sunday (unless SIP)
The burger barn on 36.
Bob's Ranch House.
Cafe 101 has decent grub when heading south.
Parkfield Cafe
The Country Hearth
The Pine Room
